Would anyone know where I could find cheese making and fermenting workshops in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Area? Joanne you were running fermenting workshops at one stage, are you still doing them? I now have a ready supply of wonderful bio-dynamic farm milk and would love to be able to use it to its fullest potential.

Rebecca lives with her wonderfully supportive husband. She is studying for a degree in Nutrition and would like to be a Child Nutritionist when she grows up. Hi Rebecca! I live on the GC too, want to buddy up if you find any? I would love to know how to make my own cheeses, it’s just not the same learning from books as being shown in person.

Well, I have been put in contact with an amazing lady called Elisabeth Fekonia,
accredited Permaculture Teacher and her website is http://www.permacultureproduce.info .
I am looking to do a course after October. I have registered for her e-newsletter and am waiting for one of her workshops to come available in Brisbane. I would also be interested in any you may find. I am looking for a workshop given by people with traditional values on food. I think it would be a fantastic day to get involved and meet other people.

Bec, I had a look and there’s a cheese workshop in Bris in August…. too soon? Otherwise we can wait until the next one comes up… I want to go with you! I’ll have a hunt around too, if I find any others I’ll let you know.

I did one at Bangalow Cooking School recently. It was wonderful.
